• Faster Loading of Incoming Messages: Ever been in a situation when you open hike and have a lot of pending incoming messages? Takes a while to load right? We can relate and couldnt take it anymore! You will now notice all pending incoming messages will be loaded up super fast & all at once!


• Fast Forwarding of Media: Ever heard the saying "Time is Money"? With this new feature we helped you save both! Dont believe us? Try forwarding a photo or video you sent to a friend to another friend and see how fast it sends!


• Group Chat Pins: Too much noise in groups? You can now pin the most important message right on top so that everyone knows whats being discussed.


• Private Chats Now Hidden Automatically When You Close hike: Many of our hikers liked the way how our Android friends hid the chats when you exited hike. We have done the same by default. Dont worry If you want to switch back to current behaviour, simply go to Settings > Privacy


• Email Conversation: You will now finally be able to email a chat conversation!

Dropbox Grabs New Features In Latest Update

 

Dropbox has received a new update that allows you to upload photos from the Pictures Hub directly to the cloud sharing service. The Windows 8.1 version of the app also picked up an update, and now has an improved file picker along with a better PDF reader.
Along with the ability to upload pictures from the Pictures Hub, the cloud sharing service also picked up bug fixes in version  1.0.2.0:
• Upload photos to your Dropbox directly from Pictures Hub (using the share feature)
• Fixed our most common bugs

The changelog for the Windows 8 version, which is now at  1.0.3.0, highlights the improvements to the file picker and the PDF reader:

• improve file open picker and file save picker
• improve pdf reader
