Cortana for Office On Windows Phone 10

Some screenshots that reportedly show the recently revealed Work Assistant app for Windows Phone in action have surfaced. The app, which first appeared in the Windows Phone Store in December, is currently an internal Microsoft project that is supposed to add Cortana voice integration features for Office users.
The screenshots are from Windows BlogItalia and show how the app is supposed to work with Cortana to open, search, and share Office files.

Another screenshot offers some helpful tips on how to use the Work Assistant app. Since this is still supposed to be an internal Microsoft project, we wont likely get a release date for some time.

Create Wifi Hotspot on Windows 7 / Windows 8 Laptop Without Using any Software- Here is how

1. Open the Command prompt as Administrator (Right click and select Run as administrator).You can also open it by pressing Window Key + X and choosing Command Prompt(Admin).

2. Type the following command in the command prompt and press Enter.

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=tipstrickshackery key=wifipassword

Here ssid is the name of your hotspot and key is password of your hotspot.Choose both of these according to you.

3. Next,type the following command and hit enter.
netsh wlan start hostednetwork

You will get a message like The hosted network started.

4. Now go to Network And Sharing center and You can see your newly created wifi hotspot connection.But, as you can see, it has no network access.We need to fix this by enabling sharing of internet connection for your working Internet connection.In my case, it is wifi connection,but it can be Ethernet or any other working internet connection.

5. To enable sharing, Click on your default Internet connection and select Properties.Under the Sharing tab, tick the box saying – Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection.Under the Home networking Connection, select the connection which is showing as your hotspot connection.(In my case, it is Local Area connection *12 ) .

6. Your Wifi hotspot is created and Internet sharing is enabled. You can check in the Network and Sharing center that your wifi hotspot now has Internet Access.

7. Now Connect any wifi enabled device to this hotspot using the password you choose while typing the command.

8. In order to stop the Wifi hotspot, Just type the following command in the command prompt(as Administrator).

It might came to your mind that remembering these commands is not easy.Also typing them again again is tedious task.This also has a solution.

1. Write both the commands in notepad.

2. Select Save As and save the file as Batch type. Name the file anything you want but make its extension .bat .Also select All Files in Save as Type. Save it on the desktop.

3. Your batch file is created.Now whenever you need to start hotspot, just run this file with admin privileges.

4. Similar way, you can create a batch file to stop the hotspot.

East Way To Use Two Different Profile Pictures on Facebook

1: Open your Timeline and Open your Profile Picture Album by clicking on Photos Tab, Choose a Picture that you want as another Profile Picture?

2: Open that Picture in a New Window By Holding Ctrl and Clicking on it.

3: Now Check the URL of that Picture, you will get something like below URL

All you have to do is Copy the Facebook id, Here in the above URL, my photo Facebook id is 491366447588908.

4: Open your Timeline, hover your mouse on your Profile Picture, you will see Edit Profile Picture Option, Click on it and Select Edit Thumbnail.

5: A popup window will appear, now Right Click on your Profile Picture and Choose Inspect Element,

Scroll down till you find <form action=”https://upload.facebook.com/save_square_pic.php”

6: Now click on the Small arrow to expand the Code Further.

Use Two Profile pictures on Facebook Scroll down a bit, you will find <input type=”hidden” autocomplete=”off” name=”photo_facebook id” value=”491366447588908“>

Now all you need to do is replace the Current Facebook id Value with the one you copied earlier in Step 3, you can do it by Double Clicking on the Current Facebook id Value and Replace it with the one you copied earlier which is in my case: 491366447588908

7: Click anywhere, Close Inspect Element Window and Now Click on Save, All Done, Now Check your timeline, update any status and you will see Different Profile Picture.

Data Corruption on Mac OS X

Data corruption is not a new term for a computer systems, not even for Macs. We can only assume how much amount of time and money is wasted in the event of hardware corruption and data loss.

Dead Trigger 2 coming on Windows Phone

One of the most popular mobile first person shooter games, Dead Trigger 2, is apparently very close to making its debut on Windows Phone devices. Developer Madfinger Games posted a teaser video today to promote its launch.
The video, posted on YouTube, was accompanied by this message from Madfinger:
Windows Phone version of Dead Trigger 2 is done. We sent it to approval proccess to Microsoft. Were waiting only for a green light.
Dead Trigger 2 was first released for Android and iOS devices in October 2013. Players have to shoot hordes of the undead in the game and by doing so they can earn in-game cash to purchase better weapons and items.
Madfinger is already working on their next zombie-themed shooter, Unkilled, which is due for release for iOS and Android in June. Hopefully the development team will release the game for Windows 10 for phones in a shorter time span compared to how long its taking Dead Trigger 2 to be released for Windows Phone.
