Some screenshots that reportedly show the recently revealed Work Assistant app for Windows Phone in action have surfaced. The app, which first appeared in the Windows Phone Store in December, is currently an internal Microsoft project that is supposed to add Cortana voice integration features for Office users.
The screenshots are from Windows BlogItalia and show how the app is supposed to work with Cortana to open, search, and share Office files.

Another screenshot offers some helpful tips on how to use the Work Assistant app. Since this is still supposed to be an internal Microsoft project, we wont likely get a release date for some time.

Disable Restrict Use of USB Storage Devices in Windows
If the USB storage device is not installed in system:
1. Type %windir%inf in Explorer addressbar or RUN dialog box and press Enter. Itll open "inf" folder.
2. Now look for following 2 files:
usbstor.inf
usbstor.pnf
3. Now you have to change their user permissions setting. Do as following for each file:
Right-click on the file and select "Properties". Go to "Security" tab and select the desired user or group in "Group or user names" list which you want to restrict from using USB drives. Now in "Permissions for Users" list, click on "Deny" checkbox next to "Full control" option and then click on OK.
In Windows Vista, youll have to click on "Edit" button after selecting the user or group in "Group or user names" list and then again select the same user or group in new dialog box. Now you can click on "Deny" checkbox.
Thats it

Bagi para penulis blog ( khususnya blogger ) pasti akan merasa kesulitan ketika harus menulis blog melalui web, apalagi ketika internet sedang down, oleh karena itu kami membagikan cara menulis blog menggunakan tool live writer dari windows. bagi yang belum punya silahkan download Disini
Langkah-langkah menggunakan windows writer adalah sebagai berikut.
1. Klik Start –> Pilih windows live –> windows live writer.
2. Kemudaian akan muncul kotak dialog seperti gambar dibawah. Klik “Terima”
3. Setelah itu muncul konfigurasi windows live writer, klik “Berikutnya>”
4. Lalu muncul kotak dialog. Pilih “layanan lainnya” (untuk pengguna selain wordPress) lalu klik “Berikutnya>”. Seperti gambar berikut:
5. Selanjutnya masukkan nama web pengguna (nama blog dari blogger, tumblr, atau yang lainnya). Masukkan nama pengguna (alamat email) yang digunakan sebagai akun blog yang dimasukkan. Masukkan sandinya, lalu centang ingat sandi saya. Ingat sandi bertujuan agar kita tak perlu lagi login ketika akan memposting tulisan ke blog. Gambarnya sebagai berikut:
6. Lalu klik “Berikutnya>”. Program akan melakukan koneksi ke akun yang bersangkutan.
7. Pada saat proses pembuatan akun seperti yang terlihat digambar diatas akan muncul kotak dialog. Pilih “Yes”
Hal ini bisa saja terjadi akibat koneksi internet yang kurang bagus. Klik saja “OK”.
8. Setelah proses tersebut selesai, klik “Selesai”.
9. Ok! Selesai. Tampilan windows live seperti ini:
10. Karena tadi terjadi kesalahan sedikit maka tema web/blog tidak muncul. Untuk memperbaharuinya bisa klik dibagian atas seperti gambar dibawah ini, lalu pilih kelola akun.
11. Muncul kotak dialog seperti berikut:
Pilih Edit di bagian kanan atas. Muncul lagi kotak dialog seperti berikut:
Lalu muncul seperti gambar berikut. Klik “Berikutnya>”.
12. Ini tampilan windows live dilayar setelah tema akun sudah terkoneksi di layar.
Jika masih gagal, ulangi saja dari proses 10 atau 11 hingga berhasil. Cara cepat untuk merefresh tema bisa juga langsung ke tab “Akun Blog” –> Perbarui Tema.

You may find that no matter how many Windows Live ID accounts you link, you can never change the first ID that you activated the phone with. This ID is used to keep track of Marketplace purposes etc.
If for some reason you want to change the main ID(to avoid getting XBL bans etc), the only official way would be to go to settings and reset the phone, which will wipe ALL data and restart the whole activation process. This is troublesome as all your save game data will be lost.
However there is a way around this, but you will need a dev-unlocked device. Please see Jailbreaking section for details.
On the handset:
1) Using a registry editor(such as WP7 root tools), change these values:

"Email"=your_new_id@hotmail.com
"User"=your_new_id@hotmail.com

2) Reboot phone
Now youre on your new LiveID email without factory reset!
Known Issues
There is an issue when updating apps/games. When you try to update, an error message will pop up, saying that its not in your purchase history and you have to purchase it again. If its a free app go straight ahead and "purchase" it again! If its a paid app, well then youre out of luck, sorry about that.

• Sandboxing. Every tab in Chrome is sandboxed, so that a tab can display contents of a web page and accept user input, but it will not be able to read the user’s desktop or personal files.
Google say they have “taken the existing process boundary and made it into a jail”. There is an exception to this rule; browser plugins such as Adobe Flash Player do not run within the boundaries of the tab jail, and so users will still be vulnerable to cross-browser exploits based on plugins, until plugins have been updated to work with the new Chrome security. Google has also developed a new phishing blacklist, which will be built into Chrome, as well as made available via a separate public API.
• Privacy. Google announces a so-called incognito mode claiming that it “lets you browse the web in complete privacy because it doesn’t record any of your activity”. No features of this, and no implications of the default mode with respect to Google’s database are given.
• Speed. Speed improvements are a primary design goal.
Stability
• Multiprocessing. The Gears team were considering a multithreaded browser (noting that a problem with existing web browser implementations was that they are inherently single-threaded) and Chrome implemented this concept with a multiprocessing architecture. A separate process is allocated to each task (eg tabs, plugins), as is the case with modern operating systems. This prevents tasks from interfering with each other which is good for both security and stability; an attacker successfully gaining access to one application does not give them access to all and failure in one application results in a “Sad Tab” screen of death. This strategy exacts a fixed per-process cost up front but results in less memory bloat overall as fragmentation is confined to each process and no longer results in further memory allocations. To complement this, Chrome will also feature a process manager which will allow the user to see how much memory and CPU each tab is using, as well as kill unresponsive tabs.
User interface
• Features. Chrome has added some commonly used plugin-specific features of other browsers into the default package, such as an Incognito tab mode, where no logs of the user activity are stored, and all cookies from the session are discarded. As a part of Chrome’s javascript virtual machine, pop-up javascript windows will not be shown by default, and will instead appear as a small bar at the bottom of the interface until the user wishes to display or hide the window. Chrome will include support for web applications running alongside other local applications on the computer. Tabs can be put in a web-app mode, where the omnibar and controls will be hidden with the goal of allowing the user to use the web-app without the browser “in the way”.
• Rendering Engine. Chrome uses the WebKit rendering engine on advice from the Gears team because it is simple, memory efficient, useful on embedded devices and easy to learn for new developers.
• Tabs. While all of the major tabbed web browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox) have been designed with the window as the primary container, Chrome will put tabs first (similar to Opera). The most immediate way this will show is in the user interface: tabs will be at the top of the window, instead of below the controls, as in the other major tabbed browsers. In Chrome, each tab will be an individual process, and each will have its own browser controls and address bar (dubbed omnibox), a design that adds stability to the browser. If one tab fails only one process dies; the browser can still be used as normal with the exception of the dead tab. Chrome will also implement a New Tab Page which shows the nine most visited pages in thumbnails, along with the most searched on sites, most recently bookmarked sites, and most recently closed tabs, upon opening a new tab, similar to Opera’s “Speed Dial” page.
