Cara Mudah Instal Android ADB dan Fastboot Tool di Linux Windows dan MAC
Jika Anda pernah mencoba untuk me-root atau mem-flash ROM ponsel Android, Anda mungkin pernah mendengar tentang istilah ADB atau fastboot. Kedua tools tersebut sangat berguna ketika melakukan root atau flash ROM, tetapi sedikit agak rumit untuk menginstalnya. Berikut adalah cara menginstal ADB dan Fastboot dengan mudah.
Apa itu ADB dan Fastboot?
Kedua tools ini memungkinkan Anda untuk mengirim perintah ke ponsel dari komputer melalui USB. Keduanya melayani fungsi yang berbeda, namun dapat diinstal dengan relatif mudah pada saat yang sama. Berikut adalah rincian singkat tentang kedua tools ini:
Android Debug Bridge (ADB): Tools ini memungkinkan Anda untuk mengirim berbagai macam perintah atau commands, yang tidak terbatas pada perintah dasar Linux shell, ditambah beberapa perintah khusus dari pengembang ke ponsel Anda di hampir setiap saat (selama mode debugging diaktifkan pada ponsel). Anda dapat mengirim perintah saat ponsel dihidupkan dan saat boot, atau bahkan ketika ponsel dalam mode recovery. Sementara ADB sering digunakan dalam hubungannya dengan rooting atau memodifikasi ponsel, ADB juga dapat digunakan untuk mengirimkan perintah ke perangkat yang tidak di-root.
Fastboot: Bila Anda ingin memodifikasi firmware ponsel, fastboot adalah alat yang Anda butuhkan. Tools ini memungkinkan Anda untuk mengirimkan perintah ke bootloader, yang berarti Anda dapat mem-flash atau memodifikasi hal-hal seperti kustom recovery. Anda tidak dapat mem-flash ROM seluruhnya dengan tools tersebut, tapi itu membantu untuk banyak hal yang ADB tidak bisa lakukan. Fastboot tidak diaktifkan untuk semua ponsel, sehingga Anda mungkin harus memeriksa perangkat apakah telah terinstal atau tidak.
Kedua tools ini terdapat pada SDK Android, namun ini adalah file yang sangat besar untuk di-download, dan tidak perlu jika sebagian besar pengguna hanya membutuhkan ADB dan fastboot saja. Jika Anda hanya ingin me-root ponsel, mem-flash ROM, dan bermain-main dengan terminal tanpa harus bergelut dengan kombinasi tombol yang kompleks, maka lewatkan saja SDK. Berikut adalah cara menginstalnya:
Windows
Windows adalah salah satu sistem operasi yang paling sulit untuk mendapatkan ADB dan fastboot bekerja, karena tidak seperti OS lain yang berbasis UNIX, Windows memiliki masalah driver yang membuat pusing kepala. Untungnya, beberapa member XDA telah melakukan kerja keras untuk membuat proses lebih mudah, dan Anda bahkan tidak perlu men-download Android SDK untuk melakukannya.
Jika hanya tertarik pada ADB, Anda dapat menggunakan 15 second ADB Installer, yang telah dilengkapi dengan fastboot di dalamnya (yang berguna untuk unlocking perangkat Android). Untuk itu, kita akan menggunakan Minimal ADB dan Fastboot tool. Download dan jalankan file .exe yang ada pada thread di XDA. Program ini secara otomatis akan menginstal ADB dan fastboot.
Program ini akan menanyakan apakah Anda ingin membuat shortcut di Start Menu atau pada desktop. Shortcut ini sebenarnya hanya akan membuka command prompt di folder tempat anda menginstal ADB dan fastboot. Anda bisa menggunakan shortcut ini, namun, Anda juga dapat memodifikasi variabel PATH untuk menyertakan folder ADB dan fastboot dipasang secara default di C:Program Files (x86)Minimal ADB and Fastboot, sehingga Anda dapat menjalankan perintah-perintah dari setiap command prompt tidak peduli berada di folder apa.
Linux
Seperti banyak hal, menginstal ADB dan fastboot di Linux pasti berurusan dengan command line. Satu-satunya alasan yang mungkin menjadi masalah adalah jika distro Linux yang digunakan tidak dilengkapi dengan repositori yang tepat. Jika tidak, Anda dapat dengan mudah menambahkan repositori yang diperlukan dengan perintah kedua. Jika Anda berada di Ubuntu, Anda dapat melewatkan langkah repositori di bawah ini dan beralih ke menginstal perintah/command.
Untuk menambahkan repositori yang diperlukan, masukkan dan jalankan perintah ini:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:phablet-team/tools && sudo apt-get update
Setelah selesai (atau jika Anda berada di Ubuntu), masukkan perintah berikut:
sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
Dan Anda sudah siap mengirimkan perintah ke perangkat Anda dari jendela terminal.
OSX
Untuk mempermudah proses instalasi ADB dan fastboot pada OS X, WonderHowTo sub-blog HTC One softModder menciptakan script untuk mengotomatisasi download dan instalasi ADB dan fastboot. Script ini bekerja untuk semua ponsel Android yang akan menjalankan ADB atau fastboot.
Langkah-langkah untuk menginstal:
1. Download file zip yang berisi script.
2. Ekstrak zip dan tempatkan pada folder Android pada Desktop.
3. Buka jendela Terminal baru.
4. Masukkan cd Desktop/Android
5. Masukkan ./ADB-Install-Mac.sh
Setelah dilakukan, script akan mengambil sedikit waktu untuk menjalankan, dan Anda akan dapat menjalankan perintah ADB dan fastboot dari jendela Terminal.

Lumia kamu bakal terdeteksi, klik untuk memilih Lumia yang akan di recovery.
WDRT bakal langsung mendeteksi versi firmware dan OS di Lumia kamu, lalu membandingkan dengan versi yang paling baru di server Microsoft.
Setelah yakin mau merecovery dengan versi OS tersebut, klik Install Software
WDRT bakal mengingatkan kamu untuk melakukan backup terlebih dahulu karena data di smartphone kamu (SMS, Contact, dll) bakal terhapus setelah recovery. Jika kamu sudah melakukan backup, langsung saja klik continue.
Kini kamu tinggal menunggu saja proses download dan install OS selesai.

Before starting : (Make sure you read the whole post twice to understand the steps)
- First unregister your phone if it is already registered for 2 apps - Check Here
- Rename the Phone To “Lumia 920?
- Check Your Phone and PC Date and make sure they are up to date.
- Connect both your phone and your PC to the Internet.
- Make sure your Phone screen is On and Pin Unlocked.
- Make Sure your Device has been detected (by Device Manager.)
Blue button not working ?Now Download Appropriate version of This app to your PC and Install it (it’s Chinese) :
1. Standard USB drivers will not work. you need to install Microsoft windows phone usb drivers
In order to manually update your wp usb driver, follow the steps below (the next steps):
1. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel)
2. Right click on the hardware device you wish to update and choose Update Driver Software
3. Choose to select the location of the new driver manually and browse to the folder where you downloaded the driver
